At the past two Cavs games there have been a number of Indians players there cheering the team on. At Thursday's game CC, Barfield, and hitting instructor Ellis Burks were there and then for Saturday nights game Barfield, and Garko were there. I know that CC and Gooden are long time friends with them both being from the Oakland area, but its really great to see the rest of the players there supporting the team. Come to think of it I was at a Cavs game last year and saw Hafner walking up the aisle right next to me. I also seem to remember Thome frequenting many Cavs games during his tenure here. Its odd though that I cant think of too many Indians games that had the Cavs go to it... Can you guys?

I'd love it if all the Indians, Browns and Cavs players were fans of the other teams. It makes them appear to be part of the community rather than just guys who are here because they make alot of money.

I would imagine it would be because of the fact that most sports players are sports fans in general and enjoy watching whatever sports they can. Home teams are the easiest to get coverage for so you become a fan by association.
