Friday, June 8------------------- 7:10pm
Cliff Lee, LHP (2-3, 6.35) vs Homer Bailey, RHP (0-0, -.--)

Scouting Report:
Indians: Lee was battered once again on Saturday night against the Tigers, giving up five runs on eight hits in just 4 1/3 innings. It's been a familiar tale for the 28-year-old lefty. Since his brilliant shutout win over the Angels early last month, Lee is 1-3 with an 8.92 ERA over his last five starts. What's more, opponents are hitting .299 against him and he's averaging more than three walks an inning. Lee can't pinpoint precisely what's gone wrong, but his troubles stem from his poor command. He's getting behind in counts with a wayward fastball early and even his strikes are crossing the plate in all the wrong ways. In four career starts against the Reds, Lee is 3-0 with a 5.91 ERA.

Reds: Bailey, the seventh overall draft pick in 2004, is the Reds' most anticipated prospect in years. In each of the last three seasons he has been rated by Baseball America as the top prospect in the organization. This will be his Major League debut. The 21-year-old was 6-1 with a 2.31 ERA and 51 strikeouts in 10 starts this season for Triple-A Louisville.

Saturday, June 9------------------- 7:10pm
Jeremy Sowers, LHP (1-6, 6.63) vs Matt Belisle, RHP (5-4, 4.48 )

Scouting Report:
Indians: Sowers was pummeled Sunday afternoon against the Tigers, giving up five runs over just four innings. The 28-year-old's time in the rotation may be running out, as Jake Westbrook is on track to return by the middle of the month. The way things are going now, Sowers certainly looks to be a candidate to join Triple-A Buffalo's rotation. Over his past six starts, Sowers is 1-5 with an 8.92 ERA. What's more, the Tribe is 3-8 in games he has started. In two career starts against the Reds, Sowers is 0-2 with a 9.00 ERA.

Reds: Facing the Rockies on Sunday, Belisle pitched 6 2/3 innings and allowed five earned runs and 10 hits with one walk and two strikeouts. He didn't figure in the decision, a 10-9 loss in 10 innings. Belisle gave up two sixth-inning runs, the beginning of the evaporation of an 8-2 Reds lead. Manager Jerry Narron believed Belisle might have been winded from throwing in the thin Colorado air.

Sunday, June 10------------------ 1:15pm
C.C. Sabathia, LHP (9-1, 3.40) vs Aaron Harang, RHP (6-2, 4.24)

Scouting Report:
Indians: Sabathia pitched his finest game of the season Tuesday against Kansas City in what has been the finest season of his career. In his fifth career shutout, the lefty faced just three hitters over the minimum and struck out eight while walking none in a 1-0 win. Sabathia has been an ace in every possible way. And though it's early, he must be considered a candidate for the league's Cy Young Award. The 26-year-old is 9-1, his 83 strikeouts are third-best in the league and, most importantly, the Tribe is 12-1 in games Sabathia starts. Lifetime in six starts against the Reds, Sabathia is 2-0 with a 3.88 ERA.

Reds: Harang allowed three earned runs and seven hits without a walk and seven strikeouts over seven innings for a no-decision in is last start against the Cardinals. But the right-hander also racked up a high pitch count of 114. He said he had trouble locating in the early innings and had difficulty finding a rhythm.

Why did the Indians pick this weekend to suck like this. Everytime they score the Reds come score at the bottom half of the inning.

Well the Tribe lost this series 1-2. CC pitched a gem in the finale, but unfortunately the Indians couldn't score a single run in an extra inning game. The Indians also dropped a makeup game with Seattle and have lost 3 of 4. The lead in the division is down to 1 game now.
