I'm all for the Tribe winning the AL Central, but I think the Tigers have the most experience, and have the edge in the talent category. I'd love to see the Tribe win it, but I just don't see it happening this season.

We look to be in good shape right now. The big 3 of Haf, Grady, and Vic are finally clicking a little bit to go along with our always stellar pitching. (severely knocks on wood)
I like our chances.

The only reason that the Indians will win it is because the Tigers can't really beat the Tribe.

Or because our pitching is freaking dominant.

The Indians got crushed today by the Chicago Whitesox 8-0. The Indians just couldn't get anything going on offense and the pitching didn't step up either.
Next series is a 3 game series against the Minnesota Twins.

I think that the Cleveland Indians will end up winning the A.L Central this season. They are playing the best baseball out of anyone in their division and the Tigers are not making any moves.
If the Detroit Tigers don't win the division I think that they will have a tough time winning the Wild Card race.

Can you guys stop trying to jinx the Tribe?
Oh and we officially own Santana.

5-0 against Santana this season. That's pretty remarkable. It's not like he's giving up a ton of runs either. He's just getting out pitched.

Why is there a Royals option up there? Hell, there really shouldn't be a Twins option either. (We own Johan!)
And my vote goes to the Tribe. 6 games is a lot at this point. There's tons of baseball to be played, so we can't assume anything, but right now, we look like we're in good position.
Just let's hope Hammy doesn't jinx us like he does with pitchers throwing no-nos...

Right now it's up to 7.5 games. I don't want to get too cocky about this. I do remember a couple years ago when the Indians collapsed down the stretch. But, this team is looking particularly good right now. They start a series against the Angels which should be a good measuring stick, but they are looking particularly good since they've found their hitting.
Looks like we might go into the playoffs with both Martinez and Harner hitting. Now all we need to do is wake up Sizemore and we might be able to take the whole kit and kaboodle.

Huge series starts tonight against the Angels. 10:00 start time is rough for us who have work in the morning, but at least its only one late night during the week.
Unfortunately we dont have Fausto going in this series, but I still think we can at least split if not win the series with the way we have been playing recently.
My aim is still on the best record in the AL. Would love that homefield advantage.

We came out of the Angels series with a split after losing the first 2 games. I think a split was as much as we could ask for on the road, but getting it after losing the first 2 is downright fantastic.
