Am I nuts? (In response to thread on Gen. Board)

In the Miguel Cabrera thread on the general board I brought up that the Marlins asked for Fausto in return for Cabrera and that Shapiro promptly turned them down. I said I was happy that Shapiro wasnt stupid enough to make that trade and that you dont trade great pitching for great hitting no matter who it is. I was promptly called a homer and no one agreed with me.

Am I losing it? Would you guys trade Fausto for Miguel Cabrera?

Obviously Shapiro wouldnt, but what are your takes?

No you're not nuts. I wouldn't trade Fausto for Cabrera either. You don't trade pitching for offense, especially when your offense is already as good as ours. We need bullpen to compliment everything else.
