Joel Zumaya

Post#1 » by Liqourish » Thu Apr 23, 2009 5:00 pm

Seems Zumaya has been improving down in Triple-A. His arm is feeling good and he's got nice velocity again. If he comes back up, who goes?

I think Bonine/Rincon/Lyon are the obvious choices. But Lyon was brought in by DD to compete with Rodney for the closer role, so I don't see him leaving unfortunately.

Who ya got?

I think Bonine could be a sleeper, I'd send RIncon away.

But, my first choice would be Lyon...lost us two games the son of a bitch.

Bonine, Rincon and Lyon all suck, to be frank.

I mean really, they are all terrible. Rodney, Seay and Perry are our only decent relievers at this point. I dont care which get sent down, or if all three get cut

Well Bonine got sent down. No complaints from me. He didn't do anything up here to stick around. Zumaya looked good his first inning back. Not outstanding but good. Has most of his velocity back. needs ot work on his location.

^Bonine never had what it took based on what I saw of him last season.

Farewell.
