Everytime we've gotten hammered, it's always been in one inning. We need to find ways to stop the bleeding. That is our biggest problem right now. Of course, once again, having no run support didn't help.

Edwin pitched 6 great innings. He got behind some but pulled through. 117 pitches through 6 innings isn't great, but when he did allow any runs and only walked one, I'll take it.

Ryan got behind early and then the error by Anderson allowing a couple runs to score didn't help. No excuse for Perry though, he wasn't throwing strike when he was out there.

Robertson, why oh why Nate? 4 ER and the runs Perry left on the base? in 1/3 inning? :x

Brandon Lyon/Juan Rincon.... you better not be Tigers all season.

We still have a chance to take the series. Porcello needs to pitch a close game and we need runs people. Cabrera, Magglio, Inge, Granderson, Polanco, Anderson, Laird...... make SOMETHING happen!!!!

Porcello got into a jam in the 4th, but he should have been out there to get the last out. Instead Rapada comes in and opens up a massive Yankee lead.

Curtis got us close in the 9th and I had my rally cap going. But we fell short. That called strikeout against Anderson (looked wrong to me) really hurt our chances for a comeback in the 9th.

Where has our run support been? Besides Grandersons 3 run HR, we haven't scored crap lately. We need to manufacture a couple runs here Jim. Get things going.

We I guess with Thames on the DL and sending Larish down to the minors for another bullpen pitcher really does limit his options at the plate. Maybe he should send Juan Rincon down to the Minors and bring Clete Thomas up? With Thames on the DL and Guillen DHing because of his achilles, we have no backup OF.

Guillen, Granderson, Polanco, and Magglio need to get going, thats all there is to it.

Hopefully that home run by Curtis will get him going, but we can't have all of those guys batting .250 or below if we want to be competitive. Particularly give Inge and Laird won't be hitting at the level they are now forever.

Cabrera needs to start getting extra base hits, again, too. He exploded out of the gates and has quieted since. Probably nothing.
