With Anderson, Larish and Clete all up with the team and all left handers, I'm wondering about Leylands lineup against Buehrle.

Curtis's OBP the past few seasons has been absolutely woeful against lefties, as expected.

I don't think he ought to be leading off. Might not be a bad day to rest him entirely today.

He's had trouble against lefties in the past, but this year he has shown improvement. He has a OBP .390 against lefties this season. Is actually faring better against lefties this season than against RHPs. Rod and Mario were talking about it last night as a matter of fact.

I'd like to Anderson lead off again, but Leyland said that he's going to force Raburn (in place of Anderson) on us again because of the LHP but that Clete Thomas would play tonight with Guillen on the DL.

My estimated guess based on what Leyland has said:
CF Curtis Granderson
2B Placido Polanco
RF Clete Thomas
1B Miguel Cabrera
LF Ryan Raburn
DH Magglio Ordonez
3B Brandon Inge
C Gerald Laird
SS Adam Everett

This puts young legs between each "power" guy in the lineup. It also keeps Clete at #3 with Cabby at #4 like Jim mentioned.

I could be totally off and he goes right back to his usual lineup but based off of what he mentioned last night in the post game... this is my guess.

PPD :(. Was hoping to watch TV all night with the ballgame-South Park double header V_V

Anyway, what do you guys think of Granderson hitting 3rd? Someone I know brought this up and with Maggs struggling, I think it would be a good, temporary fix. Hell, it might be permanent if Anderson keeps impressing.

1. LF - Josh Anderson/Clete Thomas
2. 2B - Placido Polanco
3. CF - Curtis Granderson
4. 1B - Miguel Cabrera
5. RF/DH - Magglio Ordonez/3B - Brandon Inge
6. 3B - Brandon Inge/RF/DH - Magglio Ordonez
7. RF - Clete Thomas(hold this spot until Guillen comes back)/DH - Carlos Guillen
8. C - Gerald Laird/SS - Adam Everett
9. SS/2B(when Polanco has a day off) - Ramon Santiago/RF - Clete Thomas

Thoughts on this new lineup?

Galarraga is struggling big time.

These lay offs are killing us. Once again, we lose due to one bad inning. Unless we get a 7-run 8th inning.

Please Leyland, get rid of Raburn. He's not doing anything except taking playing time away from anyone who could actually help the team.

Let's start worrying about the Indians. Verlander vs. Lee tomorrow, unless Leyland changes the rotation due to the rain out.

Well, Granderson did nothing against Buerle, as I predicted.

Of course, neither did anybody else, so I suppose its not fair to single him out just because he's a lefty.
