Ryan Perry send him down to the minors!!!

Ryan Perry sucks,.. he blows games... can't pitch..... gives up leads,....and leyland keeps on using him go figure? he needs to find himself in the minors not the majors !

In his past four games, Perry has allowed nine runs in 2 2/3 innings. Perry got the loss in two of the four games, and during his outing Friday night, Kansas City regained control for good.

We have to get him going," Leyland said. "I told him he's a big-league pitcher, but right now your slider is flat. You're not getting any tilt to it.

"I'm going to stay with him for a while, but if things at some point don't get worked out, then you go down and work it out.

Leyland said about Perry's performance against the Royals: "He left the ball in the middle of the plate, as he's been doing for a while."

he is 23 years old (i think)...lets keep the overreactions to a minimum k? Everyone slumps

Overreaction What ! did you listen to leland quote:but if things at some point don't get worked out, then you go down and work it out. He is talking about sending him to AAA ..and right now their are some relief pitchers that are doing better down there that could come up.Ryan perry needs to work out his problems in the minors not the majors.

Ajax you are underreacting and by doing that the your team never changes or gets better if you were making the deceisions.

Im not against sending him to AAA for a bit to get his head straight. but statements like

are ridiculous. He is having a bad stretch. He's a young pitcher. Its going to happen. You can't freak out every time somebody throws a couple bad outings in a row

The Tigers right-handed reliever was placed on the 15-day disabled list Wednesday with "right bicipital tendinitis." His roster spot will be taken by Enrique Gonzalez, who was 4-5 with a 3.46 ERA at Triple-A Toledo.

Perry is 1-4 with a 5.82 ERA, but he had a 2.41 ERA through his first 19 games. He has been hammered for nine runs on 10 hits in his last five games (three innings); the hard thrower hasn't recorded a strikeout in his last four games.
