Robertson, 4-4 with a 4.05 ERA, has pitched into the sixth inning in all five of his May starts for Florida (25-26).
"That's what we're supposed to do, go deep into games," Robertson said. "It's good when we [do]. That's why we're one of five [starters] here -- to go as deep as you can. When you're getting early hooks, those aren't the kind of outings you are looking for."

I have a strong urge to lock this. Every former Tiger that does ok does not need a new thread

We choose willis over robertson and if we would have keeped robertson we would have had more wins. So it was a big loss for the tigers in terms of wins and losses and in the end of the season like last year it may come back to bit them .

So wait...if we trade Willis earlier and keep Robertson his numbers from Florida automatically apply here? You dont think pitching on a new team in a different ballpark and a different league against different opponents has no effect whatsoever?
They both suck and were not going to help the team. I dont know what the issue here is

You do realize that there are countless examples of Pitchers leaving the AL for the NL and doing a lot better. Cardinals have made a living off of it. As well as NL pitcher joining the AL and doing worse.
