Right-handed reliever Casey Fien has left the Detroit Tigers and signed with the Houston organization as a free agent, Baseball America reports.
Fien, 27, was a 20th-round pick by the Tigers in 2006. He first reached the majors in 2009

Yeah, probably. Remember last year. If there was one no name guy, that I would love to see throw a no-hitter...hes it. Especially if he could do it against one of his former teams. It would just be sweet. Just for all the announcers to go through his travels around the MLB.

Honestly, let it go, so they missed out on a prospect, everyone does. It's much easier to be an arm chair QB on monday. Wasn't there also a thread about how good Clete was doing, what's he up to now I wonder.....

This thread is coming up on its 3 year anniversary and its still only 1 page. He pitched 2 games and 1.1 innings. Hes a middle reliever, no one would have ever seen this coming, its good see him doing ok. He wouldn't solve any tigers problems.

This thread pleases me. I actually check the Minni box scores now just to see Fien stats...no joke.

If only we would have kept him. His impact is so profound that he would have helped the Pistons reach the playoffs the last two years, and helped the Lions win the Super Bowl.

We should change this thread into a "ex-Tigers update" thread.

Keep tabs on Inge, Raburn, Fien, and all the others I can't think of. This is not a mockery of this thread, i think this is actually a good idea.
