We don't need an elite bat at 2nd anyway. There's only a handful in the league right now. I just want a solid rotation that can play solid D and not be a complete disaster on offense.

Boy do I miss Polanco now. We couldn't pay him more than 4 million but we're paying Inge 6.5 million a year. smh

We should have traded Polanco the moment he first was announced as an All-Star. With other intelligent moves we could have dumped him and still won more games than we actually did, but we would have walked away with the bonus of selling Polanco at his highest possible point and that would translate to one extra nice free player to add to the roster today. A real shame that our infield is this deprived after the last several years of having options to fix this in advance.
