Tigers sign free-agent reliever Octavio Dotel

According to a report from MLB Network, the Tigers have signed right-hander Octavio Dotel to a one-year contract
Dotel went a combined 5-4 with a 3.50 ERA for Toronto and St. Louis during the 2011 season. He went 2-1 with a 2.61 ERA in 12 appearances in the postseason for the Cardinals, who beat the Texas Rangers to win the World Series
