Yeah but its what hes not doing which makes him so good. What was the quote by Leyland in preseason about how Inge was hitting the ball really well , but the defense were making good plays.

I was waiting for this thread to come up.

I was at the early game Sat (supposed to see JV, instead I see Porcello dismantled), and the fans were really riding him. Then again, he deserved it, his muffed double play was horrible....

Should have been cut a long time ago. Would have been cut a long time ago if he didn't have the history with the team that he does

I was at Comerica yesterday, and the reaction the fans had when the Seattle CF misplayed the ball and he got credited with a hit was priceless. Now he is finally over .100 last I saw...

He's well below the point of useless.

When you start getting into averages THAT low, you're at the point where it pretty much doesn't MATTER how useful he is in the field. Anyone hitting that poorly shouldn't have a place on an MLB roster.

1 for 8 in Oakland with a walk and a strikeout. He made a good defensively play. I kind of hope he gets batting average up to .230 in Oakland just to see here his comments to the media.

Yes, Brandon Inge drilled an eighth-inning grand slam against his former team last nite.

nge is 10-for-41 (.244) with four home runs and 17 RBIs in 10 games for the A's.

nge became the first player with four games of four or more RBIs in a five-game stretch since Lou Gehrig in 1931. Since 1970, the only other Athletic to drive in 16 runs over a five-game span is Damian Miller, June 6-11, 2004. The Oakland record is 18 by Reggie Jackson, June 14-18, 1969.

Why is it when ever we get rid of a player they do much better for another team.

Why is it you base every one of your opinions on a "right now" basis?

Look at Verlander--5-3. OVERPAID! GET RID OF HIM!

I didn't compare Verlander to Rayburn in any way. I made what is called an "analogy." Look it up in the dictionary and get back to me.

And by the way, Verlander is now 5-4. OVERPAID!!!! GET RID OF HIM!!!!

That's what you sound like.
