He looks like he has dead arm. Too many innings. I would love to see what type of stress is in his arm if an MRI was done. I feel something minor is wrong with him that is causing this.

Infante hurt his ankle in his first rehab start, tori was taken out of the game last night with hopefully not a serious injury and at any moment peralta could be suspended. I think we need to make some sort of move either a trade or call up castellonos we need some help on offense.

Problem is Castellanos is neither a 2b or a SS. OF is set and fine. Can Perez play SS?

Acquired Veras today from Houston. Like the move. Vasquez is a decent prospect but worth giving up to shore up the 8th. His splits against righties is much better than lefties, which should allow Jimmy to mix and match him and Smyly in the 7/8th

Rumor that we are in a 3 teamer giving up Garcia and getting Iglesias from the BoSox. Insurance for the inevitable Peralta suspension. I really liked Garcia. Damn

I love iglesias he has potential to be an amazing defender at ss and could be our ss for the next ten years.

Peralta got 50 today. He's a cheater like the rest and I hope he never plays another game in a Tigers uniform. Iglesias time!

The other day he was saying his name didn't belong on the list, now he's apologizing for his affiliation with Biogenesis and calling it a mistake. Looks like someone was force-fed some truth serum.

To be fair, his statement is open for some interpretation. The question asked, since no one was going to ask him directly if he cheated, was, "Do you think it's wrong that your name is on the list?" He said, "Yes, it's wrong that my name is on the list." Given his obviously not completely fluent use of English, that could be taken to mean "Yes, I've done something wrong for my name to be on the list." Granted he did go on to mention "go on fighting" which generally could mean fighting the allegations, but it could also mean "just keep on working hard every day." Not that I'm making any excuses for him, don't get me wrong. The rules are the rules. I'm cool with whatever punishment MLB feels fit to deliver and any criticism from the fans after the suspensions are served.

Great game last night. The Tigers had not been the team that could be counted on to get come from behind wins this year, and to do in the fashion that they did, on the road, and against the second-place team was pretty sweet. They definitely look like a team that's got it all coming together.

I watched the whole thing and was super pumped when Avila cranked the HR. Given that he is hitting under .200 somehow, he sure has been getting timely hits lately. And to have it be against Cleveland? Sweet

Miggy's homer was pretty much a screw you hit on Salazaar. That look on his face was the look of a very pissed off beast.

That was fantastic. Sweeping the Indians in the most demoralizing way possible has me feeling quite good about the team

What an amazing series. There are still a lot of games to play, but this series was like a Jenny Jones episode. We definitely know who Cleveland's daddy is now.

They were talking on the ticket if this series broke the indians back and spirit.

After HOW we beat them, I would say it did. Looking at their body language last game, I think some of the players agree with me.

Also, screw them for the Detroit's Bankrupt chants

Please tell me someone else saw Iglesias with that insane catch and throw against the White Sox yesterday.

Very few players in the league could have made that play, man it's fun to watch a slick fielding SS.

Yep, I saw it; I watch pretty much all of the Tigers/Lions/Pistons/Red Wings games if I don't have something else specific planned.

Pretty bad ass. Not sure the runner was actually out but after a bang bang play like that the defense is generally going to get the call.

Pissed about last game, but there is an interesting side note to this game for me.

My brother (who I now hate) caught a foul ball that Konerko hit off Bonderman. Guess that's one advantage to living in Chicago.
