Stephen Drew up for a short term deal?

I hope we get Drew, so far all I've heard is that they are looking at internal candidates, and the farm is a little dry in my mind.

Big loss.

Just saw Rondon is out too, Tommy Johns, not a good spring so far.

Yeah, there's no way of slicing it. We've got an uphill battle this year before the season even starts. I'm still hopeful, but not nearly as optimistic as I was a couple weeks ago.

I don't think Drew is an option at this point, I think we traded for our likely new infielder yesterday.

Wonder if they'll try to acquire some bullpen help. Rondon hurts.

And we added another SS.

Traded Lombardozzi for Gonzalez from the Orioles. Dude is really old, 37, so purely a stop gap player. Not crazy about the trade, given that Lomb is 25, but oh well.

We essentially traded Fister for a pick, prospect, and 37 year old SS, gulp
