I think that they must be counting on Dirks coming back if that's the case. Who plays center field for us now? Donny Kelly? Hunter isn't a good defender any more. JD really shouldn't be there.

I really wish we had kept Smyly and moved him to the pen, and sent our Robbie Ray instead, if that was an option. Kill two birds with one stone-upgrade the starting rotation and get a reliable lefty into the pen. Smyly was a great reliever, I felt like he had steel in his veins.

Yeah, I gotta believe the plan is for Rajai Davis to move to center with Dirks in left.

I love both Smyly and Jackson, but it's a move you have to make at that.....cost.
Tom Gores' Securus faced a class action lawsuit in 2024. The company engaged in a "quid pro quo kickback scheme" with county jails in Michigan which banned in-person visits in order to maximize revenue from voice and video calls.
