Caught your attention...

His glove is horrible. I wince each time I see him struggle in the field. I can't take it anymore.

The worst part is that with Sheffield signed on for three years as our DH, there is no where else to use Maggs. Truth be told that he is not as bad as he has looked early this season as the win was hell for the Toronto series. He did make a bad decision when he tried to slide and make the catch that went for the triple against the Jays, but I think he was playing on tilt there and way trying to make up for the bloopers that dropped in front of him.

Yes Mags is certainly no Jim Edmonds out there, but his hitting makes up for it.

And after the walk-off homer to send us to the World Series, he can do no wrong ever again.

Maggs is a very clutch hitter.

Sheffield is a pretty damn good right fielder... if Leyland didn't want his bat in the lineup every day with his age Magglio would probally DH.

As much as I loved that Home Run, by the way that people talk about it, you'd think that we were in game 7 and losing. All it did was give us the sweep. With or without that homerun, we win that series easily.

Gary Sheffield is a better right fielder that Ordonez. I can live with Mags out there but we should at least replace him late in games for defensive purposes.

Unfortunately, there is no Clevin or Gomez sitting on the bench this year. Infante may be the best choice and I don't remember ever seeing him in right field.
