Detroit Tigers (0-7)
Boston Red Sox (4-4)

Starting Pitchers;

Jeremy Bonderman (0-1),
John Lester (1-1),

Sorry for a bad thread I'm going to be making this game threads a lot better with lineups and things like that.

Note: Ivan Rodriguiz needs 1 hit to reach 2,500 for his career.

Tigers with 4-2 lead after 4 inning, Marcus hit a 2-run huge homer, Lester has now walked 4.

Good to see the offense finally show a little bit of life, though its not coming from entirely expected sources, with Maggs, Sheff and Polanco not hitting the ball.

Thames and Edgar came through though. Lets hope they keep sticking it to Lester. He's gonna be a really good player, but Id he's still in the process of developing (though that could happen this season).

Hitting can be contagious, so maybe this big inning will be a spark for something.

^^ I'm so glad we have Sheffield I'm sure he has something to do with this team not putting it's head down or getting to frustrated. I think that's why the younger less-veteran guys like Thames and Clete Thomas are playing good, they really look up to the veterans. On the other hand once the veterans themselves and the pitching gets going, at least the starting pitching, the hell with the history, we could win the pennant.

Lets not get ahead of ourselves.

We're still working on win #1 lol.

We'll need 90+ more in the regular season alone to even consider the possibility of winning the pennant in the AL.

^Yeah, Bonderman did a solid job keeping the score down. Too bad he didnt do it efficiently.

4 innings might be too much to ask for the bullpen against the Sox's lineup.

I'm looking at Clete Thomas's statistics, he's good...for a guy that only made this team because of an injury, he's batting .300+ playing good out there in center field, is he one of out top prospects, I've never really heard of him till this year.
