I'm heading to California till September 2nd (I'm leaving tomorrow morning), I most likely will have access to a computer but won't spend much time on it. Here are the remaining games we play in August.

August 22-24; 3 game series against the Kansas City Royals.
August 25-27; 3 game series against the Cleveland Indians.
August 29-31; 3 game series against the Kansas City Royals.
September 1st; 1 game against New York. (Make up for called game).

September 1st, Labor Day, Pudge returns to Comerica Park.

I think the Tigers will be lucky to go 6-4 over these ten games. They could beat up on the Royals, but I Cleveland still outplays the Tigers and New York is always dangerous.

Yeah, sigh.

I just hope this season can end on a positive note. I need something to look forward to next year.

Well that positive note wasn't last night. Lambert went scoreless through 2 innings, needing only 9 pitches a piece, but then gave up 6 runs in the 3rd. Only 2 were earned, back-to-back homers for Carroll and Shoppach. Next were back to back errors by Raburn and Thames allowing 2 more runs. Granderson then fumbled a routine play for him that allowed another run but it wasn't ruled an error.

Our offense couldn't get going again. We entered the bottom of the 9th down 10 to 2. We got two runs back, but it was just embarassing. The loss also allowed Cleveland to pass us in the standings. Pathetic.

^Yeah, its been a really rough season and we've definitely taken a major step backwards.

Shame, too.

Our offense scores a lot of runs (7th in the league is rock solid), but even that one redeeming quality is deceptive because we are inconsistent at stringing hits together and woeful in close games.

And theres no help coming from the farm, either.

Pray, fans, pray.
