According to the wiretap, per DFP, Kenny Rogers has been placed on waivers and might be traded by the end of the week. I can definitely see the reasons for the move, but I'm interested in what everyone expects we might attain in return.
Also in the wiretap, Garcia has been promoted to AAA-Toledo. Could we end the season with a starting rotation of Verlander-Galaragga-Miner-Lambert-Garcia?
Kenny Rogers gone?

Re: Kenny Rogers gone?
It only makes sense at this point.
Rogers is very old and won't help a team out of the playoff race. A contending team could be interested in him as an end of the rotation starter at this point, but not much else, and certainly not more than a push for the playoffs and grab a few extra wins type rental player.
I'd be skeptical of us getting much of anything for the guy at this point, everyone knows he's not particularly worth much to a team in our situation at the moment.
