The first of several opportunities to extract some small revenge on the city of Cleveland.

We NEED 2 of 3. C'mon Armando.... get us off to a good start after the bad finish against the Yankees.

Just a heads up:

Screw 2 out of 3.

We need a SWEEP.

Beating up on a struggling team is essential.

2 of 3 too me is not good. We wanna compete.....we need to stomp them. You gotta beat the teams you should to have any shot at the playoffs. Especially a divisional foe

Galarraga's eventual struggle couldn't have come at a worse time.

We almost pulled it out in the end but these late game heroics are killing us. We can't score 7-11 runs in 1-2 innings. We need to get off to hot starts.

Hopefully the Tigers do better today and tomorrow since they do better during day games.

Galarraga's struggle could have come at a considerably worse time, later in the season when we need wins possibly for a playoff push.

Hopefully it happening early will allow him to work out the kinks before games really start to matter.

We just got into way too deep a hole and just didn't have enough to get out of it yesterday. Its a shame.

That's how most of our losses have been. We don't score runs early. A couple bad pitches and errors cause the opposing team to get out to a sizeable lead and the team can't string enough together to win. We need to strike first if we want a chance to win the game.

Everett with his 2nd career grand slam. Granderson with another 2-run homer.

How many more times will Raburn commit (uncalled) errors in the outfield to add earned runs to pitchers before they all turn against him? He did it with Verlander and now Miner. I understood that he tripped, but he recovered and had the ball in his glove and carelessly dropped it and then fumbled it again before throwing it.

Here's hoping for 2 out of 3!!

Well we won the first series against Cleveland!!!

Verlander is starting to get his confidence back. You can see it all over his face.

Good to see Inge continue to chug along. Also nice to see Grandy getting some good looks. When he isn't getting outted on first pitch hits.

How much longer do we need to suffer through Raburn? Designated hitter? really? with his .091 batting average?

Guillen just looks in alot of pain. I don't know if Leyland doesn't feel he has anyone to fill in or if Guillen will refuse to go on the DL, but it's obvious that he's not anywhere close to 100% and he looks uncomfortable out there. Not only at the plate but when he's out in left field too. I hope he doesn't hurt himself any worse out there.

Minnesota up next. Would be nice to take that series as well. Minnesota is struggling. let's go for the sweep.
