We really need a good homestand after that long roadtrip. Hopefully Figaro and Verlander can pull out victories.

How long is Maggs going to be out of the lineup for ? His average has been increasing just move him int he order if you need to but I don't see the need for a benching.

Leyland said it would be for a bit. He won't even use him to pinch hit. It is the right move even if you claim his average is going up. It should need to be going up, it should already be above .300.

Going to the game tomorrow, why do I always get **** timing? Last game I went to Bonine was starting :x, and the other ones either Kenny or Robertson was pitching. This sucks, I never get to see good pitching performances.

I hope Maggs doesn't take it personally, the benching, and I was at today's game I ditched because of the weather.

I'm headed to Sunday's contest with my pops.

God bless the return of some offense -- and Thames, of course.

Let's see how the rook does on Saturday.

Best part of the win last night? 4 homeruns for free Arby's today!! :D

Seriously, it sucks that Galarraga couldn't go back out after the first rain delay to get a few more outs and get the win. It really would have boosted his confidence.

Really glad to see our offense starting to pick up. Dusty Ryan with the double... who knew?

Miggy is getting hot again...good sign of things to come

who the hell is Figaro? and coming from AA, not even AAA? An era over 4? Facing Fielder, Braun, etc

looks like a recipe for a short outing

Figaro looked good. 5 IP 2 ER 7 K 96 pitches. He could have pitched the 6th inning but Leyland was limiting his pitches in his first game.

Something I didn't know but was mentioned on baseball tonight last night, Alfredo Figaro is Fernando Rodney's cousin.

Well Verlander is on the mound today. His first game against the Brewers since his no-hitter. Let's hope we can complete the sweep.

Inge with a 3 run-HR, Verlander with 7.2 strong innings leading to his 8th victory. Rodney with a career high 14th save.

Good sweep of the Brewers. Now we hope that Houston can finish off Minnesota in their game so that the Tigers can take a 4 game lead of the Central.

Off tomorrow and than have the Cubbies for 3 days.
