Justin Verlander has been in the conversation for the Cy Young award. He's had a solid year and awesome strike out numbers, but I don't see how it could go to anyone but Greinke. His ERA is amazing. If he were on a team with strong hitting and relief, he could have had a 25+ win season. It's a shame that one of the best pitching performances of our era is hid by the fact that he played for the Kansas City Royals.
My top 3:
1. Zach Greinke
2. Felix Hernandez
3. Justin Verlander

It's unfortunate that people don't see Greinke's ERA as the joke that it is. 62% of his games are against sub .500 teams. He gets skipped in the rotation against good teams like the Yankees and Red Sox. I'm sure Verlander's ERA could be 1 run lower too if he only went up against cream puff teams all the time.
He's faced Boston once. He hasn't pitched against the Yankees. Both games against the Angels, he lost. 2 of his last 3 games agaisnt the Tigers he lost. But he's great against Pittsburgh, Oakland, Baltimore, Seattle, Houston, etc.
It should be between Sabathia and Verlander.
