Where are all the Marlin fans hiding? -- Don't jump on our band wagon once we're in the playoffs, and say you were here all along now.

Image Hanley 3-R HR! -- The Marlins have busted open this inning with 5 runs, and lead 7-3 in the 3rd.

Hanley doing great but my Amezaga is the one that is really impressing me so far...with his bat and glove.

What about putting Amezaga at leadoff and putting Hanley 3????

S-Amezaga
R-Uggla
R-Hanley
L-Hermida
R-Willingham
L-Jacobs
R-Cantu
R-Treanor

We need to find a way to put Hanley @ 3 or 4. His bat is way too good to be @ 1st, and hardly anyone on when he gets his ABs.

Uggla is the problem
when Hermida comes back I'd bat Hermida 2nd and drop Uggla down..

Hermida is a good OBP guy and I like a lefty batting 2nd as a rule

Hermida, if he can ever get healthy, can be a very good player for us, especially on the offensive end. But, he's a slow starter, so the longer it takes for him to get back, the longer it will take him to get into the groove of things...

Well they said the off day on Tues was because when northern teams have their openers...because of the weather, they leave the next day off in case they have to make it up the next day.

And Johnson and Sanchez should both be back after the all-star break. They are both done rehabbing, they are just throwing to rebuild arm strength. Of course...setbacks are possible....and they'll want to take it easy with them....but we should definitely have them the last months of the season...hopefully helping to make a playoff push. Bad news, Marlins will use getting those two back as an excuse not to make a trade for a pitcher.

I've heard of manufacturing runs

but every night we have to manufacture 9 innings worth of pitching.

and when JJ and HS, they will probably be on short leashes to begin with

to survive this season without literally destroying our bullpen, we'll probably need another Nolasco Type long reliever who can eat up multiple innings at a time.

Anyways, they have been hitting great but i still don't like the lineup as it is, i hate dan uggla hitting number 2 and id rather have Willingham bat third, because his OBP will be over .250...

By the end of the year i hope to see

Hanley
Hermida
Willingham
Jake
Maybin
Uggla
Cantu
Catcher on given night

Arizona last season allowed more runs than they scored, yet they were still a playoff team. (But, after the AS break, they're pitching really picked it up)

We can only hope we can follow suit.

Hanley is way too good to be hitting 1, especially on in the NL.

Maybin @ 1 and Hanley @ 3/4?

Yea, after the all-star break...we need two conditions...Maybin to be playing well in the minors and Jacobs to be healthy and hitting .280. THEN:

Maybin
Hermida
Hanley
Jacobs
Willingham
Uggla
Cantu
C
P

Til then, I'ma just enjoy watching this team win games...no matter how dysfunctional their lineup and rotation are.

Our line up is pretty solid, 1-7. It's our pitching staff that needs work.

Personally id rather have Maybin start off down in the lineup, as to not put pressure on him to have to be the catalyst to this offense. I'm sure Hanley will succeed wherever, but I like having a 380 OBP guy at the top of the lineup.

I miss D-Train's personality, not his arm
