I'm going to assume the annoying Dave Samson messed up the deal somehow. That pimple.
For a long time it gave me nightmares, witnessing an injustice like that. It’s a constant reminder of just how unfair this world can be.I can still hear them taunting him, Silly Rabbit tricks are for kids.I mean why couldn’t they just give him some cereal?

We got cut out of the deal, dammit. This sucks...

Is it too late to pick up JP from the Dodgers? Manny, Pierre, Andruw Jones, Kemp, Ethier they have a few too many OFs

JP has like 30 million left on his contract, no way we take him

is it wrong of me to kinda wish Jake pulls a hammy so we can see Dallas up here?

they've been like this for the past cpl of years.

we're a small market team, so we have to win from within, and cheaply (if that's a word) -- it's just what we have to accept...

honestly, im happy it did not go through

Manny would of helped us offensively. No doubt about it

but the Marlins problem is not offense, its defense, and an outfield of Hammer in right and Manny in left would of been the worst in the league. Hermida is not good at defense by any means as he makes the stupidest plays sometimes out there, but at least he has speed and an arm.

and we would of had to give up Stanton (our best outfield prospect) and a good pitching prospect like Tucker.

we would of gotten compensation if he leaves with some high picks, but honestly, I dont think it was worth it.

now for LA, the big guy they lose is LaRoche, and they dont need him with Casey Blake. The only other prospect they lost was a pitcher already had Tommy John surgery....

and they are getting 2 picks if Ramirez leaves!

they got a hell of a good deal.

hell of a good deal to make up for the atrocious Andruw Jones, hitting under .200 for like 18 million dollars a year... they bench JP and his $9M a year but he still is outperforming Jones, I don't blame him for steaming.
