For a closer.

Right now we have a solid bullpen
Lindstrom(when healthy), Nunez, Calero,Meyer,Ayala,Donnelly, Pinto,Badenhop

All quality guys filling roles

Now imagine adding a Heath Bell

Bell (All star quality closer), Lindstrom in the 8th, Nunez in the 7th

Now outside of those guys we still have Calero and Meyer having great years, Pinto as the lefty who can get righties out, Hopper as the long guy.

And we still have the veterans Ayala and Donnelly to throw in

Trading for an above-average closer transforms the bullpen from solid, to REALLY good

Nunez has done a decent job as of late but can he hold it up. I like him more as the set up man, but with this front office, i see him being the Closer for a while. This team needs a closer and a bat.

1. the title of this thread annoys me. do you tell the city where to build roads?
2. a cleanup hitting 1st basemen is the biggest need by far.

big name closers are probably the biggest risk/ smallest reward and overrated position on the field..

ADRIAN GONZALEZ for standton, maybin and a. miller...fingers crossed!
