Astros vs. Rockies SERIES THREAD: Fri. 18th - Sun. 20th

Post#1 » by RaoulDuke79 » Sat Apr 19, 2008 12:04 am

Figured it's just easier to do one thread for the whole series, and I'm not going to put much effort into it since we'll probably lose all 3 anyways.

Tonight(Friday) we have Franklin Morales vs. Chris Sampson.

Starting lineups:

A bunch of guys who will probably hit the crap out of our pitching

vs.

A bunch of guys who probably won't score any runs for us

I predict Pence strikes out 4 times, and that Matsui proves he's useless offensively.

GO ASTROS!

(ok I know this sounds pessimistic but hey, maybe the reverse psychology jinx of doom will work).

So I guess I was right. 6 runs in the first inning, Sampson got pulled before even getting out of 1 inning.

AMAZING.

Go Disastros!

Wow. Am I going insane or....did Hunter Pence....just..........get.....a hit?

AMAZING!

6-3 now. Atleast we've made it a ballgame right off the bat(no pun intended).

Well they answered and scored 4 runs to make it 6-4 after Sampson's horrible start. Hopefully Moehler can keep them in the game for a few innings and maybe we can pull off a miracle and end up winning a game!

It's still early and only down 2. It's a whole new game now.

Go Disastros!

Also, wow if Pence gets going finally, we might be able to actually compete...

Pence is 2-2, that is absolutely amazing.

Down 4 runs again though, yay!

Yea that was terrible, I didn't expect that. I like how they answered back with 4 runs themselves but it wasn't enough. Just a bad 2 games the last 2 days. It's quite depressing. It sure would be nice to see them get on a bit of a roll and win a few in a row.

Never, and I suggest we bust out the tombstones as well(it worked last time).

Return to Houston Astros
