Tejada is really growing up

Post#1 » by Vator » Fri Apr 18, 2008 1:57 am

Ever see a guy age 2 years in 1 day? Now you have. I saw a part of this interview on ESPN at around 5. Pure gold...the dude literally ambushed Tejada with a birth certificate and he tucked his tail between his legs, ripped of his microphone and hauled ass.

Seems like kind of a douchebag thing to do. I don't really know why this is an issue at all to be honest. Who really cares?

I'm not saying it shouldn't be reported but...go ESPN. You rock. Congratulations on that crack reporting you ace staff you.

(It was kind of funny though).

The way the did Tejada WAS wrong and made them look baf IMO but his reaction was funny. Dude's eyes look like silver dollars when he saw that birth cert.

I honestly don't watch baseball and really dislike watching the sport, but I saw this interview and the title of this thread and thought it was hilarious

Talk about growing up. Man his batting average is growing by leaps and bounds since that ambush interview. He is knocking the cover off of the ball. Maybe somebody can dig up something on Valverde to motivate him into not being a gas can.

To be fair, Valverde has looked pretty good his last 2 outings. He did give up the sac. fly last night but other than that he was solid. He came into a difficult situation too so I am happy with how he pitched.

He said he figured out what the issue was(something about starting out with his hands lower or something? I don't know). Whatever it was it was clearly a mechanics issue because I know he has good stuff and has a pretty good track record.
We watched the tragedy unfold. We did as we were told, we bought and sold. It was the greatest show on Earth...but then it was over.
