I smell a loss, but my heart feels a 3/4 series win.

GO ASTROS!
We watched the tragedy unfold. We did as we were told, we bought and sold. It was the greatest show on Earth...but then it was over.

Man Sampson friggin' blows. Get him out of there and out of Houston preferrably.

WOW. Best win of the season IMO. I can't believe we won this game! Down 6-0 thanks to a rough start from Sampson and a couple errors(to Sampson's credit a few of the runs were unearned), then cut the lead in half to make it 6-3, then give up another unearned run to put us down 7-3.

The bullpen did a solid job keeping it 7-3 going into the 8th inning and we score 4 runs(3 of them on an Erstad 3-run homer!), shut them down in the bottom of the 8th, then Fat Elvis leads off the 9th, FIRST PITCH HE PUTS IT INTO THE DAMN BAY. AMAZING.

Then of course Valverde nails it down to win it. Absolutely awesome win. You're going to have days when your starter has a rough day, you make some errors and give up some unearned runs, but to hang in there and battle back and overcome adversity and end up winning(not to mention Fat Elvis PUT THE DAMN BALL INTO THE WATER!), that is just AWESOME.

We're now 6-1 on the road trip. How many comeback wins is that now? Man these guys love the 8th inning. It's becoming a pattern. The confidence on this team has to be sky high right now.

What a great day to be an Astros fan!

Now we have Chacon/Oswalt/Backe lined up to start in the 3-game series against Texas. I think we could take that series as well, hopefully.

GO ASTROS!

  :onfire:
