Also I only saw the beginning of the game tonight, had stuff to do, but nice comeback apparently, 5 run 8th inning?
Sweet!
Now it's on to the Cheese State to kick some Brewer ass!

We watched the tragedy unfold. We did as we were told, we bought and sold. It was the greatest show on Earth...but then it was over.

Here is a post I got from http://forums.hornfans.com(UT site, mostly biased idiots especially with football but still), about Woody and the Astros:
"Woody is never gonna be stellar, but you've got to remember that we got him at a relative bargain price. His role is to eat innings and mix in a few quality starts from time to time. I think he will do just that once he gets his arm strength built up and develops a strategy for pitching at MMP.
As far as this series goes, I couldn't be happier. Harang and Arroyo were both tough customers but the team stayed aggressive and pounced on their bullpen.
In addition to the explosion from Lane, it was nice to see Loretta step up and make a contribution with the key knock on Wednesday night.
The most important thing a team can do early on is develop a role and identity for each player. Over the last week, the 'Stros have done an excellent job of getting production from all 25 guys. Depth is an invaluable resource over the course of 162 games, and it certainly looks like this will be our strong point in '07. "

I tend to agree with basically everything he said. And I think the more we keep winning/competing, with a clearly improved offense, get Jennings back, maybe we have a shot at Rocket(even though he's a bitch) coming back. I figured for sure he would go back to NY but I think we have a better chance now than we did before the season started. I'm sure he'd love to pitch here at home, and if he sees our team is competing, in the watered down NL, where he can face the opposing pitchers, and we have an improved offense that can score him runs, we have just as good a shot as getting him back as anyone.
Then we'd REALLY be tough.
Just a few thoughts.
