Not a single response from our Astros fans? Boy, you guys really need me here... Just kidding, I know I am only a ballboy on this board. :(

It appears to me that the Astros lead-off hitters, Bourn and Matsui, are not doing their jobs. Wow, Bourn is a great base stealer but has trouble getting on base. How strange...

And from a Mets fan's perspective, Kaz Matsui is nothing but garbajosa.

Yes Bourn definately shouldn't be hitting leadoff, although I will say I've been more pleased with Matsui than I thought I'd be before the season started.

Still, they don't do a very good job of setting the table for the rest of the lineup. Then again, we had a fantastic month of May and averaged about 5 runs a game, that can't last forever. Teams go through cold stretches/losing streaks, it happens all the time even to the best of them. They need to snap out of it though because losing 3 in a row makes me a sad panda.
We watched the tragedy unfold. We did as we were told, we bought and sold. It was the greatest show on Earth...but then it was over.

Yea, 5 losses in a row. Pathetic. I know teams go through losing stretches during the season, it happens to everyone. Still, it's quite sad.

Hopefully they can bounce back and get back on track in the next week. They better kick some Pirate ass.

So, Bourn reads my message and gets 2 hits... Kaz "Scrub" Matsui chips in with a hit... what do #3, #4, #5, and #6 do? Absolutely nothing...
