TMU's favorite traitor picked a great time to hit his first right-handed HR of the season! Nooooice.
We watched the tragedy unfold. We did as we were told, we bought and sold. It was the greatest show on Earth...but then it was over.

Congrats to Moran on his first MLB HR!

Looking pretty good in his return to the big league club so far tonight. Increase that trade value, my boy!

I blame Hoyt for this because Devo is beyond criticism and Hoyt is poo.

Still...

McHugh returns tonight! Really looking forward to seeing how he does in his first start back, hopefully he can be a much needed shot in the arm(hehe) to the rotation.

Oh man, Moran just fouled a pitch off right into his face and is bleeding under his left eye....

Need to make some sort of move to help the bullpen. I'm not so worried about the rotation now that McHugh is back, even though Lance has struggled since his return...but, Keuchel should return at some point hopefully, and thanks to Fiers and Peacock for really carrying the load during all the injury issues.

But the bullpen has issues, even Devenski has been getting hit hard lately. I've no faith in Feliz, Hoyt or Sipp, and Gregerson is shaky as well. Even Giles makes me nervous more often than not, even when he gets the job done.

If they make any move before the deadline I'd like to see an upgrade to the bullpen more than another starter. Just not sure who would be available for the right price at this point.

Harris getting back healthy and maybe getting Keuchel back and moving Peacock to the bullpen should help. We'll see.

Back-to-back dingers from McCann and Bregman followed by Peacock's first career hit! Well done, sirs.

Also, I had completely forgotten about Velasquez, weird seeing him out there against us tonight. I forgot he was part of that Giles trade a couple years ago.

Didn't get to see Keuchel in his first start back, not shocking if he struggled so not gonna worry about that, but Peacock has been awesome out of the pen as expected.

Positive note: McHugh looked quite good tonight and was pretty solid in his first start back before running into some trouble later on, so that is encouraging.

Still...bullpen help please!

Perhaps a panic thread is necessary?
