Don't think Tampa is going to trade Crawford.

Ok let me try this again. You need to post a link or the thread gets locked.

Nothing personal. It is the way we operate.

Career shift for Lidge?
Astros reliever could become a starter with Devil Rays

Published April 14, 2007

Brad Lidge soon might wish he were back in middle relief in Houston. There's a rumor making the rounds of trade talks between the Astros and the Tampa Bay Devil Rays.

It makes a lot of sense, actually.

While Lidge has been damaged goods since giving up that massive home run to Albert Pujols in Game 5 of the 2005 National League Championship Series, he fits the profile of high-end pitchers that Tampa Bay seeks constantly.

I have no idea where they got that "Tampa would make him a starter" thing from. No, they would not. The league's worst bullpen doesn't trade for a bullpen arm to convert him. Top notch journalism there.

If they want to make him a starter like he was in college let them. Expesically if we get some talent for him.
