Sure...why not? The season is over anyways so might as well get some young guys infused back into the system.

the only guy that should be kept is pence and oswalt if its possable other than that everyone else is/should be on the tradeing block.

I disagree.

IMO the untouchables are:

Oswalt
Berkman
Pence
Lee(and only partially, if we can get some good talent in return I am all for trading him)

Everyone else can go, but I'd like us to keep Loretta/Lamb as utility guys, and Jennings can be a solid addition for our rotation as well as Sampson, so those guys are keepers IMO but not untouchable.

The rest, blow it up, get whatever you can in return that can help us win games, bring up our best AAA guys and give them a shot and see what gems are there because I am sure we have a few.

Let Biggio retire(please, I love you but it's time to go out after this year), let Ausmus go, blow up the bullpen and totally rebuild it, and so on...

i would agree with u on pence and oswalt being the untouchables but we could get some really good starters for berkman. dont get me wrong im a huge astros fan so. as far as lee goes i think we should keep him b/c not only is he a power guy but also an rbi guy he could take the place of berkman. and as far as pence goes he should never be trades this guy is the real thing.

I think that I heard on the radio last week that Oswalt, Berkman, and Lee have no trade clauses so they would all have to agree to a trade.

As it should be. I mean, Lee is a loafer who is only good for hitting but atleast he produces at the plate, but Berkman and Oswalt are Astros for life damnit...

..so is Pence. Trade them and lose my love for you Astros organization!

agree on the oswalt and pence being astros for life 100% as far was berkman goes i guess he would be an untouchable seeing as how he is our 1st base and also that hes one of our best hitters.

He'd bring some good players in a trade no doubt, but the guy has come up with the Astros, he's a Texas boy, and he's basically our best player(yea he's had an off season but the guy is a stud).

I just wish that Lance was more dedicated to honing is body. Imagine how good he would be if he actually worked harder.

He hones that body of his with the power of twinkies, isn't that enough for you? WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT?

I agree though yea, he needs to do more cardio and stop lugging around those bitch tits.

Well if Papura isn't gone then the likes of Everett, Ensberg, Ausmus and the bullpen will never be gone. I think Tim doesn't want to get rid of them because of the success he had his first year, but it was only in the playoffs. This sucks LETS JUST LET MOREY HANDLE THE ASTROS TOO!!!!!!

MOREY FOR GM!!!!
