No chance in hell he gets to 3,000 hits IMO. He hasn't even played one full season yet and he's 25. He'd have to play until he's like 45 to get there.
Bagwell's HR mark I can maybe see him getting to. Say he averages 30 hr's for the next 10 years, he'd still be about 100 away, but I can see him playing until he's close to 40 barring any major injuries.
And since he plays in a park that is very suitable for hitting hr's he has a good shot.
This kind of talk is way too premature though, he is still a rookie and hasn't played even one full season so let's not get ahead of ourselves, but I think if he can stay relatively healthy for the next 10+ yrs he's going to have a great career, and I really like his attitude alot. We need more guys like him, not just on the Astros but in baseball in general.

VERY unlikely. He might average .300+ most of his career and maybe even play 15+ seasons but even that is very tough to do and you never know if he will sustain a serious injury(luckily this one is minor).
I'm just looking forward to seeing the kid play as an Astro for the next 10 years or so(atleast he better because if Poopura trades him I will be insanely pissed).

not only will i be pissed off but i would be hard pressed to watch the astros anymore reguardless of who they got for him. and this is coming from a die hard astros fan.
