Dont know if you saw it in the Houston Chronicle, but Drayton is quoted as saying we are not looking to move Lidge? Is he crazy we have to rebuild because we dont have a single major league ready prospect. We are not going to be competive I.E make the playoffs. So we need to trade Lidge and anyone else we can to make this team better for next year. He also stated that Pupura and Garner are not on the hot seat. I think he should pay attention to the team and not his Grocery chain!!!

Yea Drayton is a (Please Use More Appropriate Word) old man sometimes.
As I've posted already, I think EVERYONE(especially the bullpen) should be for sale right now with the exceptions of Lance/Lee/Oswalt/Pence(obviously Biggio but he will be retiring I assume).
I've also said I'd love to keep guys like Lamb/Loretta around as utility guys because they're solid role players but we need someone better starting at 3b every day, and I don't even know what to do with SS/2b because I have no faith in Burke and even though Everett plays excellent defense his bat is non-existant. I can tolerate his terrible offense in the bottom of the lineup because of his defense, but not when we have gaping holes(kinky) at 2b/C which means not 1 but pretty much 4 automatic outs at the bottom of the lineup, including the pitcher.
Time for Ausmus to go, the entire bullpen needs to be broken up, and the rotation outside of Oswalt as well. I like Sampson so if we keep someone around he'd be solid but everyone else should be on the way out.
And yes, that includes Garner, who I like alot but I don't have any faith in as a manager anymore.
