Unbelievable that Yasmani started to hit and then went back into the doldrums.

a fly ball would have helped.
sheesh....a freakin double play.

Trayce Making His Case

Post#1102 » by Ranma » Tue May 17, 2016 3:40 am

Trayce Thompson's defense in LF may not be as good as it is in CF, but he's making a strong case to be ahead of Carl Crawford on the depth chart. The kid probably deserves a shot at everyday duty in LF.

"What's on Second"

Post#1103 » by Ranma » Tue May 17, 2016 3:54 am

What the hell is going on defensively at 2B? We had the position unmanned on the stolen base and now we just had another phantom there on Trout's double off the outfield wall.

A-Gon is Well...Gone from the Game

Post#1104 » by Ranma » Tue May 17, 2016 4:18 am

Well, it doesn't look like Adrian Gonzalez was thrown out of the game by the umpire, so it's disconcerting that we would take out the defensively capable Gonzalez from the game and bring in Justin Turner on his off-day. Hopefully, Adrian isn't seriously injured.

come on we all know Trayce's worst day at LF is still better than any given day of Carl in LF. once you add their offensive output, it is not even close to be a competition.
ehhhhh f it.

Great, we get Baez going for a week and now he can't get a single person out.
Just when I was getting over how much I can't stand him, he blows this game wide open.

you're right Vin...he does lack confidence.

Dodgers' Now Have 3-Way Tie for Team HR Leader

Post#1109 » by Ranma » Tue May 17, 2016 5:46 am

Trayce Thompson just launched a 2-run shot to bring us within 1 run in the 8th inning for his 2nd homerun of the night. He's now tied with Corey Seager and Joc Pederson as the clubhouse leaders in HR's with 6 apiece.

What an annoying team to watch.

No consistency.
Never know what is going to be complete garbage from day to day....the pen? Yaz? Puig at the plate? Watching Crawford get put in the line up time after time?
Bullpen arm gets it one day? The next he's a gas can.

**** pissed I have to hear about this all next morning from my Angel fan friends.
This team should have been swept all 4 games...now who knows what will happen.

oh...now 1.5 off the pace of the Giants too.

Ryu and Montas....hurry the **** up already.
Why are they being so mum on Montas? He's supposed to be off the 60 day June 2nd....we should hear some news about him throwing or getting ready at this point.

Bolsinger to start on Wednesday night as a part of a 6 man rotation (at least for the time being) to give our starters a rest over this 20 game stretch.

One of the more puzzling things I wanted to mention about the Crawford situation is what it means for when the team gets healthier.
Ethier and SVS are LFers and Trayce has earned a spot on this roster. So what are we going to do when they get healthy? Culberson is obviously gone. Is **** next? We have to go without a back up SS/IF for Carl effing crawford?

It's an absolute joke and insults every Dodger fan that we continue to throw him out there like he's a core part of the team. He plays more often than AJ Ellis does.
FOH.

edit:
tough news on A-Gon's back as he is day to day.
Probably will see a mix of Yaz, Howie and Chase at 1st.

Kershaw has answered the bell and stopped the bleeding every time except for when Cheating Dee was in town.
6 straight games with 10 or more Ks.

Looks like A-Gon could go on the DL. I think we're prepared for that move now that Howie's bat is waking up.

The young boys did damage tonight too.
