Roberts said he pulled Chase Utley because he saw 7run deficit as chance to save wear and tear on 37 yr old. Told him at start of inning

So you stuck with that idea even when the bases were loaded?
UNBELIEVABLE!

Sorry Dave.

Still No Answer on Montas

You're welcome, Quake. Unfortunately and just like I suspected, I haven't received a response from anyone nor could I find any news updates on Frankie Montas. I tweeted Alanna Rizzo, Bill Plunkett, Bill Shaikin, and Andy McCullough.

Jon Weisman, DodgerInsider.com (5/19/16)
According to Jack Baer of MLB.com, Bolsinger was working without his fastball for most of the game.

“I think the only thing that was working for me was my slider,” Bolsinger said. “After the second inning, I think I threw four fastballs the rest of the game. Every pitch was a slider. I was working off one pitch.”

Easily the most frustrating team to watch in sports.

And the Clippers were pretty damn frustrating to watch to start last year.

At this point, I'll just view it as Dave waiving the white flag when he brings Hatcher into high leverage situations.

It went from a 4-3 game to a game that is probably going to get out of hand.

I am not sticking around for this bull.

If Montas doesn't work out, I'm gonna go hop off a building.

Ryu and Urias are throwing tonight as well.
Busy night in the Dodger's twitter world.

5th in the league in last 30 days for K%?

it reminds me of Mr. Baseball when Jack Elliott is defending his batting before the Yankees trade him to the Dragons, saying "I led the league in 9th inning doubles in the month of Auguest!"

completely missed Ranma's post on Montas....wth

The season is about 50 days old.
30 days isn't too bad of a sample to use at this point.

I really thought in the top of the fifth with Ellis on base, with two outs, when Kazmir came up to bunt with two outs, that Dave should have pulled him for Chase to pinch hit and if Utley or **** makes an out, leave Utley out there and Kendrick's spot replaced for a 1 inning pitcher, say, Coleman. then the next inning, still with that rightie Villanueva on the mound, to bring up Joc as the PH on that spot. Kazmir was really off tonight with his control, he shouldn't have been out there after he gave up that HR to Norris, especially.
ehhhhh f it.

Too frustrated man.

Cannot believe this team has performed this poorly.
