looks like that is the plan anyway. they pulled Ross for Watson and it's only the 6th.

3 innings, and we have all 3 Morrow-Maeda-Jansen train ready.

I would still hate to waste them in this game unless we score a couple of runs next inning right away. we cannot go into Kershaw's game 5 with wasted bullpen. we try to stretch Clayton out too far and breaks again, his mental health going into the WS will be in major trouble.

Arrieta's got 89 pitch count now. if we are ever gonna touch him, this is it. Joe Madden is throwing his wild card, pulling KS for defensive RF Heyward. this is a chance for us. we could freeze their lead with toy bat carrying Jason Hey batting second.

and Grandal walks.. I think this would be a great time for a pitch runner... Barnes?

not that it matters so much now we are in 7th. but hopefully Joe keeps him in the game and Arrieta loses some velocity and location due to fatigue.

maybe it is a good thing. they now only have 1 lefty reliever left.
