yeah that was a bad play. even if the ball was dropped, he would have had no chance to the 3rd base. I am sure he was trying to threaten the defender from throwing the ball to 1st base in case it was dropped, but still you have got to understand you being on 2nd base is more valuable.

maybe they meant no limits on floor count, not ceiling count.

I think Roberts said there would be no set limits that were predetermined like was typically used with Urias. This leaves Roberts the option to exercise caution based on his observation of McCarthy's performance today.

Nothing like being down 2-0 and knowing a bum like Will Venable is in the lineup.

And...IDC...ima say it...these umps squeeze Urias because he's young. He does a great job of painting his pitches and they hate on him. It's happened in a number of games, not just this one.

man, I've been in and out doing family BBQ but seems like we have caught up and its a tie game. we just have to score a run with 9 outs to go, and shut out the O's with 6 more outs to go. like our chances.
