another scoreless inning by Kenta. so far hhe gave up 1 hit, 0 walk, and 7 Ks. that's all with 57 total pitches.

Steiner is wrong to say Maeda has 8 Ks today.

in five innings Kenta pitched, he so far has given up 0 walks, 2 hits, and 9 Ks. and glad to see him unload his slider now than from the beginning. he has pitched well. Grandal has called a great game so far. Kenta only pitched 70 total so far. he can go past 6th. just gotta be efficient and continue to locate, and not be afraid to use his fastballs to set up for his slider as an out pitch and not the other way around.

I hope Dave let Maeda pitch the 7th. not only his control and confidence in his fastball have gotten better, but his velocity is actually up right now.

Charlie Steiner kills me. To the extebt I'm superstitious, this guy is ALWAYS talking about how great a pitcher is or has been while my butt is clenched.

I'm glad Maeda fought and got through 7.
Masterful performance to provide SOME relief for the pen after Ryu, Kaz, and McCarthy were less than stellar.

Much like the Clips, I hate our schedule after the ASB every year. the MLB always gives us a **** road schedule to deal with coming out of the break.

At AZ for 3.
At Was for 3.
At StL for 3.

And no Kershaw.
We have to show well there...5-4 minimum.

what a clutch hit. I can't fault Yasiel for trying for a double. he nearly had it too. Gonzo couldn't do it, but Puig came through and now Bud has 4 runs to play with. it is already the bottom of the 4th. Norris shuts them down here and we got this.

Chris Taylor last night is already worth more than Zach ever was to us. Team is slowly pulling in the right direction. I like how our roster is built MUCH better than the Kemp-Hanley years. It'll be nice if we can handle these 9 road games well and then get Kershaw back (or he may be back during the road trip).

Oh and...

How about that Cuban guy we have in RF? How's he doing?
