if Kershaw gets through this, I pull him.
he's up in the next half inning an he doesn't have to throw 115 pitches each time out.

8 out of the last 9.

we're 4 out with the toughest part of our schedule on the way.

3 at CO
3 at SF
3 at AZ
4 at home against CO

we're 14-23 against our division with 13 games against these guys going into the half.
i would say 14-23 is a death sentence but the other teams' division records are as follow.

AZ 18-19
CO 23-16
SD 19-22
SF 23-17

i doubt we'll finish with the best division record...but we need to, at minimum, get on top of AZ and SD in that column.

and we're 5 under.
13 games left in the half.
we need to go 9-4, minimum to go in the half .500

CG for Kershaw.

was gonna hate the Marmol deal....but i saw we did it for the International slot.
dunno if that's just the positioning or the money we're allowed to use...but either way...Kasten promised we'd be a a beast internationally and he has delivered so far.

bingo.

he is an expiring, but you just never know with Ned Colletti. he might get a brandon league-ish man crush boner to resign marmol. :-?

i don't like Nolasco.

because theo epstein is no joke of a GM and would have demanded a king's ransom for garza.

just imagine, if Ned gave up 3 prospects plus picking up all of remaining salary of nolasco when the next best offer was from the giants with 2 low level prospects and refusing to pay the whole salary, what would have Ned given up for Garza?

at least we picked up more international signing $$$. but giving up on young sanchez is troubling to me. the kid has been up and down but shown a very high ceiling and just started put things together at high A. wall i don't care to lose, ames is a long shot, but angel sanchez could hurt a bit down the line.

in the end, all nolasco has to do is outperform capuano. we should be happy about it.

yea..considering Beckett out with surgery.
Lilly being injured at all times.
and Capuano replacing Uribe as the most frustrating player on the Dodgers.

I'm content with Nolasco.
but get rid of Cap...I read somewhere, either ESPN or LA times that Fife was the odd man out.
wtf?

no no no it's the usual BSPN crap talking out of their arse.

according to the dodgers team site, nolasco is starting on tuesday, and donnie softball gave a raving review to fife's recent performance. capuano is our long relief, fife will be our 5th starter.

Ned Colleti traded LA's own Trayvon Robbie for Fife and FedEx.

u willing to give him some credit there?

Im glad fife is doing well beyond the expectation but the expectation wasn't very high to begin with. as for Tfed, yes i am happy with his defense and ability to throw runners out, but do not like his game calling yet. overall, that trade was one of a handful decent moves by Ned but while Ned's successes are moderate, his failures are monumental.

great double by AJ...they would have had all the momentum if Sergio got out of that jam.

what great base running by Puig to make up for that unnecessary steal attempt at 3rd base while we had the hottest hitter in baseball up.

i'll be fine taking 2 out of 3 in AZ...w/ no sweep...would put us at 8-4 against them on the year with 7 more to play. and would leave us 3.5 out with 4 at home against the rockies before the ASB.

im not gonna lie.
we need need to sweep those 4 against the Rockies at home.
