Maybin had a slightly better BA over Gattis against LHP this season, but Gattis was 100 point-ish higher on OPS. that was the right call. Maybin was gonna get a weak grounder or a flyball. Cameron is not a HR hitter, Gattis is.

Smart move by Dave for the intentional walks... Pressure on the BP any way we can... Now we just need some runs.

will it be Ethier or Grandal? that is the only question at this point as the pinch hitter coming up after Austin.

plate discipline, pitch recognition and pitch selection is what the C boys need to work on all off season.
