Thank you for that dumb bunt instead of running Kershaw's pitch count up.

107 pitches.
Do you let him see a hitter in the 8th?

Toughest part of their order coming up.

Kershaw struggled with them in the 6th inning (that's why they're up again in the 8th).
Seems like a cushy lead but I am taking no chances with our bullpen as it currently stands.

Giants non striking out, non swing and miss line up.

they foul everything off and run up the pitch count.
Kazmir looking shaky early.

The stuff his there though.

He's hitting 93 or 94 although I can't tell if that's him implementing his 4 seamer.
The change up to Pence and Belt just now were NASTY.

Field of Nightmares

Post#469 » by Ranma » Sun Apr 17, 2016 2:33 am

I can't watch the game since I can't find an online feed that works for me, but the Kings are also playing so no big deal. However, I notice Cueto is throwing a no-hitter against us while **** continues to play like a clueless outfielder. When **** and Howie are in the lineup at the same time, we better have **** at 2B and Howie in LF.

Edit: Nevermind. A working feed just popped up for me.

Joc Strapped

Post#473 » by Ranma » Sun Apr 17, 2016 4:43 am

Joc has been taking some crappy swings tonight. He couldn't even put the ball in play with Grandal at 3B. Now it is up to Puig...who flies out to end the game.

I would have batted Puig for Joc in that scenario.

I knew it was a mistake from the jump. I don't get how you trust Joc to hit in that scenario knowing you need contact and a fly ball.

and it's no MMQB. I was telling my friends that as soon as I saw Joc coming up to bat.

Dave has faith.
I'm out of panic mode. A win tonight can make Quake a happy man. One game at a time blue.

hey man just got home right now. what a great game that was. Jensen making 5 out save was something else too.
great hoodie sweaters, kept me warm as I only wore a T shirt and that was a one cold night for LA.

what I got out of this game
1) Jensen can go more than a inning.
2) Liberatore couldn't have come in a better time. it was obvious Dave had no trust in our setup guys. Adam wasn't there but just saying.
3) Howie plays better defensive LF than Crawford. I am sick of seeing Crawford taking the wrong route to a flyball or stumbling with a late start, or even losing the ball in the sun entirely. Howie actually looked a better LF than he is a 2B as of right now.
4) Dodger brass needs to expand the sizes on their Hoodied Sweats. M and XL were the only choices. and that XL was big enough to fit Fat Albert. M was okay but according to my wife, once she washes it the damn thing will become a kid size.
5) stating the obvious once again here but the fans in the loge seats are the true fans. they watch the game and make comments on everyplay. guys who take piss breaks come back asking what they may have missed. I hate the field level seats that are corporate seats. they come late, leave early, don't watch the game, and fret over little things, play on their phones the whole night, and dont even get me started on the jerks on the McCourt expansion seats with waiters standing by. I don't like Pavillion seats for obivous viewing problems as well as due to the fights. glad there was no fight during this game, at least that I noticed.
6) PoPo everywhere in the parking lot. I am sure the security had doubled for the weekend Giants series.
7) PARKING COST DOUBLED!!!!!!!!!! WTF!!!!!!!
8) Beer is now 15 dollars. really.
9) people love churros. nobody likes yogurts.
10) they really outta open the gates much sooner than just 90 minutes before the start of the game. people had packed in the drive way to the stadium and we were stuck. glad I had the sense to make a quick U turn but many got jammed in the middle and they were stuck there for a good hour and half until the gates opened. I don't remember the stadium being locked before games in prior years. is that a new thing or have I been away from LA for little too long? I remember being at the stadium and doing site seeings and shopping at the dodgers gear shops at 4 PM when the game was at 7. am I remembering too far into the past or is this something new? I was purplexed.
ehhhhh f it.

1000 Vin Scully Ave. that is now the new address of the dodger stadium.

Come on Kenta!

Let's do this.

this is his first real test against a great lineup.
hopefully Grandal has a good feel for Maeda's stuff and can help him work the hitters like AJ can.
