What I love most about that homer, aside from the 2 runs, it got Maeda up to bat.

Utley's up the next time Shark takes the mound.

the key to Maeda's success has always been, that he has array of different pitches to last deep into the ball game with many times over the opposing iineup. he is smart and learns on the fly, so hopefully he can just locate the damn ball right here.

Sorry for the confusion. The Seager steal was in the previous inning. Gonzalez grounded into a double play to end that inning after Turner's walk.

Pederson homered as I was recounting the events of that inning and I typed out Joc's shot without separating the two occurrences.

yeah that's what Im saying. it is very unsual but it doesn't seem like the Giants are anticipating any pitches either. maybe he is experiencing some sort of illness? hate the gnats but wish him well.
