Man I am not particularly pissed off that we lost 3 in a row, as baseball is a game of dominance by streaks of one or the other.
but I am POed that we got swept by the gnats. **** **** ****.
ehhhhh f it.

At least we know we're onto something with Alex Guerrero's bat.

We're not going to be able to keep this guy out of the lineup.
If the kid can do ANYTHING in LF….put him there please.

Alex Guerrero getting another start at 3B.

Now I know Friedman said he's gonna help Donnie pick the lineups. I think he knows Uribe has the better glove at 3B.
But all of our fan base is calling for Guerrero to fill in at 3rd.

NO!
get that nerd Crawford the FOH.

man, I sure hope Greinke settles down soon. he is throwing a lot of pitches in the first two innings and runners on base each time. we need Greinke to be a rock while Ryu and McCarthy are out.

Wake-Up Call for Jimmy?

Post#68 » by Ranma » Thu Apr 30, 2015 3:15 am

Maybe the 2nd spot in the lineup is not so bad for Rollins, after all. Jimmy just hit a homerun for a 5-1 Dodgers lead. It's obviously too early to get really excited since he's had a few spectacular plays surrounded by more disappointing ones. Still, one can hope.

Hey guys, this is the game thread. Can we move some of the other discussions to new threads. It might help draw more fans here if we make those topics more visible.
Thanks!

I've seen the rumor floating around, but haven't seen any confirmation or anything. It just seems to be showing up on fan sites.

I have seen one where Puig is going to the Mets and Syndergaard AND Matz are coming to the Dodgers. if we are getting those two for one Yasiel, I'm all over that one. if it is only for Syndergaard, we have to evaluate whether selling a moderately low and long term contract of Yasiel's talent on offense is worth giving up for a young arm who is cheaper now but the latter arbitration years will quickly jump over Puig's contract and he is not yet a proven commodity in his short stint with them Mets, at least not at the level where Yasiel is looked at.

Nice break down. I like keeping Puig if it's just Syndergaard.

think we'll see Olivera at all this year?
It sounded like all signs pointed to him coming up this year but it looks like we actually like this Callaspo guy and Turner.

very disappointed in our team thus far.

I'll just say it in plain terms.
We look like we don't take the Cardinal-Giants series as personal as they do. They're the winners, world series going NL cream of the crop now and we're ho hum about beating them in the regular season because……i guess we're scared to do really well and then bust in the playoffs.
