Yeah....he got a little redundant with that.....he should have gotten out of that inning regardless.

Now here comes Jake McGee and pretty much an L for Blue.

Looks like Ethier is a 10/5 player now.

Yeah, I saw that but it was to be expected. Any hope of dealing Ethier was extinguished the moment he was injured.

Bicep strain?
I'll keep my eyes peeled for TJS.

MisCall on Maeda

Post#668 » by Ranma » Sun Apr 24, 2016 12:48 am

Maeda got jobbed on that last call for his 1st walk. It was a high strike on the replay and pitch tracker. Also would have been Maeda's 4th strikeout over 2 innings.

I love this broadcast team btw.

Orel and Nomar are so good at breaking down the little intricacies of the game.
Joe is growing on me but I love hearing these guys discuss baseball...it's an element that Vin doesn't have at all.

Vin doesn't really need that element, in my opinion. He elegantly let's the game and moment speaks for itself while throwing in the interesting and obscure anecdotes that you can't get anywhere else.

I've always liked Hershiser in the booth and Garciaparra quickly won me over as an addition. Davis is growing on me, but Vin Scully is truly one of the all-time greats.

Rolling Along as a Team

Post#678 » by Ranma » Sun Apr 24, 2016 1:53 am

I love how Dave Roberts is making it a point to proactively give us more opportunities to manufacture runs. Utley continues to come through being the gamer that he is. Now for more looks at ****'s catch:

History Not Repeating

Post#679 » by Ranma » Sun Apr 24, 2016 2:02 am

It figures that Kenta's no-no is broken up shortly after the Dodgers' telecast put up a segment about Nomo's no-hitter at Coors.

No hitter is done with.

Now we have players on the base paths with the heart of their order up.
