Dave over managing again.

Stripling was just fine to go out there for the 7th.
Nope.

Throw the gas can out there and lose the game.

we haven't lost it yet and Ross is your 26 year old rookie who got his job due to series of injuries. I say Ross did his job and good to go out feeling good about your stuff and how you managed through 6. but goddamn it I agree that at this point, Hatcher should be relagated to games we are losing and behind, not when its tied or winning. should have put Coleman out there for that last at bat against Pillar. he is a deadeye mistake fastball hitter. Hatcher is right now a mistake prone fastball pitcher with no control. Coleman is a breaking ball rightie specialist. it would have been a great spot relief job for him.

Not even going to blame Hatcher here.

He has no command of his stuff and he's been a bum this year.
He shouldn't have been in in the 1st place.

**** the Protect-Stripling's-Ego idea of letting him leave the game with confidence.
That kid earned the 7th inning. Instead, we throw out our worst reliever going at the moment in a 1-1 game and the obvious happened.

You don't need fangraphs or a bunch of computer geeks to tell you what was going to happen there.

hey watch it when you speak of "stat geeks". you went to law school, you are one of us, a fellow geek! :D

and Hatcher and JP should be down in AAA to get their **** together. we should bring up Urias as our setup man as KC had done with Ventura during their playoff run and get it over with.

Let's go Howie.

Neduardo...$24.99/ mo
It rolls over every year.
For the mlb.tv

Thank you Howie and offense for showing up.

Bullpen, you're on next.

And we have to get through the meat of the order to win.

I trust our SPs have the control to live on the edges with Donaldson, Bautista and Encarnacion.
Our bullpen as it's throwing now? This ball park?

Crossing my fingers.

edit:
Another reason why Hatcher bothered the hell out of me.
3 extra batters came to the plate in his appearance....just helps them get the bats in the hand of the guys they trust.

thanks, and that's not that much cheaper to go mobile exclusively for me, guess I will keep paying directv like a chump for their package. at least I can watch it here in Oregon, many Angelenos from what I hear can't even if they are willing to pay for it.

WOW

I am impressed with Baez right now. I always liked him but to come back with a heater and get Donaldson in a strength versus strength match up...

and yeah this is the right call. here comes Jenley.
