With regards to our notable starting pitchers on the disabled list, I'm hearing that each case is not really a cause for concern. Kershaw is healthy and only needs to get his innings up and control back. Darvish seemed exhausted from house-hunting in L.A. all day, which led to back stiffness in his last outing. And Wood has been showing sign of fatigue with his decreased velocity and SC inflammation. I hope those are indeed the case and that rest will cure all their ills.

I hope we don't see Brock Stewart again for the rest of the season. The kid just isn't ready. Glad to have Kyle Farmer back, though, which may allow for Austin Barnes to get more playing time.

Stewart had a meteoric rise through the minors, it is understandable that without a consistent opportunities to start, that he is struggling a bit. I do think he will do just fine if and when he is moved to a lesser team that will give him 25 starts a year for a couple of years to figure it out in the bigs. maybe the Bucs?

I'm not saying we should abandon Stewart as a prospect, but he shouldn't be considered for the big club for the rest of this season or the postseason. He still has a place on the team long-term if he can figure things out, but right now, he needs to work on things. If we have to trade him, I'd prefer we at least build up his trade value first.

yeah I agree that he shouldn't be on the post season roster and if he is on it, then something catastrophic has happened to this ball club.

but what about that catch by Utley???
