or just trying not to touch 95 until the season?

he threw a fastball that got crushed at 90 MPH.

he is getting a ton of strike outs, and according to donny b and ken gurnick, the velocity and the "stuff" is there. not too worried over kershaw.

i am more concerned about ryu's curves and sliders not curving nor sliding, ryu is getting strike outs out of his fastball and changeup, but getting crushed with his breaking stuff...

now Greinke's elbow is becoming a bit of concern for me.

he complained of forearm tightness which made my ears perk up a bit.
now it's his elbow.
this would completely suck if his elbow stopped working and he needs TJS.
the dodgers are saying it's precautionary....im not buying it....forearm, then elbow.

good thing we haven't traded Lilly or Harang or Cap yet.

in addition:
- apparently Keith Law doesn't like any of Ryu's pitches aside from his change up...said his fastball wasn't even hitting 90....
scaring the hell out of me cuz I'm watching him now vs. Milwaukee...it seems like he's right...

- i watched clayton the other day against Colorado....not getting up to 95....im srsly just gonna hope it's because he's not in midseason form and that there's no point in trying to throw that hard in March....but his fastball is 90-92 from what I've been seeing.

yeah it seems like jason schmitt all over again. at least greinke has long enough of a contract to come back in dodger blue even if it is the worst case scenario we all fear the most.

with greinke in doubt, and billingsley's arm being a candle in the wind, and lilly not being back 100% yet, our rotation, regardless of our best wishes, seems to be Kershaw-Beckett-Ryu-Harang-Caps.

i hope Kershaw holds up. if not, we are in 6 feet of crap.

on a happy note, Beckett seems to be doing great and it is his strong "odd" year of his career. Ryu has gotten the hang of American (so called slick) baseball to throw curve, and harang and caps have had no health issues so far.

ryu looked pretty damn good his last spring start. as of right now ryu is a good value . no matter what others say. i dont think hes going to be that ace but a solid number 2 when all is said and done
